On the Samci hill in Gornja Stubica, in the green setting of a nicely maintained park, rests Oršić Castle, a noble building constructed in the second half of the 18th century, at the place of the former burg dating from the 12th century. Today, the castle hosts the Museum of the Peasant Uprising, along with a gift shop and restaurant. Not far from it, there is a monument to the leader of the peasant uprising from 1573 (Matija Gubec) done by Antun Augustinčić.
