About the Programme:
The programme offers an overview of the trisonata, a typical Italian 18th century musical form, exported and soon taken up by various excellent German composers such as Händel and Bach. It nevertheless preserved the original Italian form in terms of a four-tempo arrangement: lento, veloce, lento, veloce. Two short soloist quadripartite sonatas will also be performed: Mattheson's sonata for flute and B.c, and the sonata for violin and B.c of the great genius Vivaldi. The concert will be performed by a trio accompanied by a copy of an Italian Giusti hapsichord playing from a figured bass. The hapsichord was manufactured by Andrea di Maioa and is a versatile and irreplaceable instrument for this kind of music.
